Terms and Conditions box doesn’t enable

Make sure you scroll all the way to the end of the Terms and Conditions. The checkbox will only enable once you’ve viewed the full text. 

If you’ve already done this and the box still isn’t enabling, try again using a different browser, an incognito/private window, or a different device.

Rental cars can be convenient if you plan to travel outside the downtown area, but traffic congestion will be significant and parking can be difficult to find.

Most of our hotels are just a quick trip to official SXSW venues and SXSW works with a variety of services to provide a comprehensive selection of transportation options. These options are available to help you design your commute to SXSW events within your individual budget and needs.

Once you are downtown, most everything is within walking, pedicab or shuttle distance. Parking is at a premium in downtown Austin during SXSW. 

Unless specific age restrictions are stated in the SXSW Schedule, all SXSW Conference and Festival programming may be attended by properly credentialed persons above the age of 13. Children 12 years of age or younger may attend if accompanied at all times by a properly credentialed adult.

Adults accompanied by children should respect the right of all attendees to participate in SXSW without disruption and without concern for the safety of children.

Adults concerned about age admission policies and age-appropriateness of specific programming should use common sense and rely on the online schedule for guidance. 

SXSW attendees are subject to the age restrictions of each venue, including clubs and bars.

Are there shuttles to get to various theaters and venues?

Yes! The SXSW Festival Shuttle is the free circulating shuttle that runs between our partner hotels and most Music and Film Festival venues and other event destinations. Check back later in the season for specific pick-up locations and times. 

SXSW Housing partners with the best hotels closest to official SXSW venues and the surrounding Downtown Austin area. Registrants have exclusive access to the lowest rates at these hotels only when booking through SXSW. This means that you will not find lower rates at our partnered hotels when booking directly through the hotel, a travel agency, an online booking service, or any other source.
